The Metamorphoses Summary:Europa and Jove

Jove commanded his son to go and chase the herds away. He went to Sidon in the image of a bull. Europa was somewhat afraid of him but because of his beauty, she approached him. He kissed her hand. She stroked his chest. Jove carries her off to the sea, and Europa is terrified. She holds on to him for dear life and they drift off into the sea.
