Terence Hawkes
Terence Hawkes was a literary critic and theorist. He was the son of Constance Hegenbathe, a professional singer, and Frederick Hawkes, a publican in Birmingham. Hawkes went to college at University of Cardiff, which he later on returned there to teach literature. He was known for bringing Shakespeare to the present day. He edit different books, such as, the Textual Practice, British first journal literary theory. He died at the age of 81 in February 2014.
