In 1960, author Norman Mailer almost murdered his second wife, Adele Morales Mailer. They broke all the rules with abandon, including heavy drinking, chronic use of marijuana, varied pills, and sexual misadventures with multiple lovers. He was a nightmare that what Adele Morales's Mailer said. He was the one cheating and hurting/manipulating his second wife, making her the wrong person and not him. and in the text, "Shortly before dawn, Mailer stumbled in from the street, demanded that the leftover guests line up in two separate rows, and taunted Adele about his manhood and bullfighter fetish. In a blind rage, Mailer stabbed Adele in the breast and back" he stabbed her twice with a knife.
