'''Terence Hawkes''' was a literary critic and theorist. He was the son of Constance Hegenbathe, a professional singer, and Frederick Hawkes, a publican in Birmingham. Hawkes went to college at University of Cardiff, which he later on returned there to teach literature. He was known for bringing Shakespeare to the present day.
