Debt Relief:Primary Research Proposal

Dear Dean Lynn McCraney,

Iam writing to request permission for my classmates and I in English 31206, Pr. Lucas'class, to get permission from you to survey students on campus for a class project. The subject will dealwith with debt relief and the survey will contain questions dealing on that matter from a student's point of view. One this is completed it willbe posted on the class website and willbe accessible to students as refrence or research information on this particular subject.

Background and Goals We know that people have different financial backgrounds and with a college as diverse as Macon State College we are sure toobtain information that will beneficial to this project. Our goals are to:

• Collect up two-hundred surveys
• Advise students to check site when it is completed

To accomplish these goals we will pass out surveys to students and set up desk in non-traffic causing areas in the campus buildings for the next week and a half.

Survey. Will be a short questionnaire dealing with debt relief, such as: status, age, financial category, goal or desires.

Analysis. Survey information will be categorized into groups.We will use the two hundred surveys response to get statistics on the seperated groups.
