Norman Mailer was an American novelist who had stab his wife, Adele Morales, on November 20, 1960. Before the indecent Norman was a WW2 veteran wrote who wrote his famous book "The Naked and the Dead", after which caused him to write 2 other book. Upon his entry to New York fame, he became more obsessed with it and being to drink and go to late night parities. it was during this time were his fame begin to slow down and became more irrelevant as he couldn't get publishers to realizes his other books. unable to the the recognition that he wanted made him unstable and depressed till he had lashed out drunk from a party on his wife.
