Ghent Altarpiece shows the Annunciation with the archangel Gabriel at the left and the Virgin with the dove of the Holy Spirit above her head at the right. Through the windows of the spacious room you can see the palaces and buildings of the city of Jerusalem. There are symbolism and contrast figure in this piece. The symbol of fertility represented by the Garden of Eden. Also, the Garden of Eden in contrast with hell. Ghent Altarpiece is a very interesting piece.[1]
