I beleive placing your thesis at the end of the introductory paragraph is the best postion. It allows for some discussion before the thesis comes and gives the writer enough time to build up to it so that the thesis doesn't feel so random. Otherwise, just remember to consider you subject, purpose, and audience when you write it. ~ M. Nowell
