	Hecuba is the Queen of Troy and the mother of Hector.		Hecuba is the Queen of Troy and the mother of Hector, Paris, Cassandra and among others. Hecuba is also the daughter of Dymas and wife of [[Priam]]. When Troy falls, she is given to [[Odysseus]] as a prize and has to watch as her Daughter, Polyxena, is sacrificed at the tomb of [[Achilles]]. She is also the central character in two surviving plays of [[Euripedes]], the ''Hecuba'', which is undated, and ''The Trojan Women'' (415 BC).
