Metaphysics is defined by Merriam Webster Online as "abstract philosophical studies" or "a study of what is outside objective experience". Contextually, metaphysical discussion often alludes to philosophers such as Descartes ("I think, therefore I am") or Aristotle. These discussions often bring into question the nature of existence and humanity's place in creation.
