T. S. Eliot

Thomas Stearns Eliot (1888-1965) was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to an old New England family. He was graduated at Harvard. T.S. Eliot did graduate work in philosophy at the Sorbonne, Harvard, and also Merton College, Oxford. T.S. Eliot has been considered one of the most courageous innovators of twentieth-century poetry.
