Brevity
Brevity is essential for all writing. It keeps one from rambling on and forces the writer to be more intentional with their words and keeps readers from having to read through chunks of unneeded text. Brevity according to Webster "is the quality of being brief: such as the use of few words to say something".
Proofreading [1] is reviewing and rereading a document looking for errors. When proofreading look for typos [2], misspelled words, punctuation and grammar [3] mistakes, and any other problems within the document.
