This class has been one of many different activities and experiences. In terms of business writing, it definitely pointed me in a new direction, even though I has taken a business communication class before. Our work on negative writing, requests and cover letters truly refined the way I thought these forms of writing should be approached.

I do agree with what Professor Lucas stated in an earlier class session about working on these and other fundamentals of professional communication. As a class, more time probably should be spent on these topics, and if that comes at the cost of the class project, I believe that is a fair trade. Personally, I prefer writing letters over collaborating with classmates whose outlook differs from my own. Many of my classmates may not agree with me, but I can live with that. Each of us need to be able to enhance our writing ability individually, and more focus on these types of writing would allow this to occur.
