Summary

Harper hallucinates that she is in Antarctica. She discussess with Mr. Lies her plans of making a "new world" in Antarctica so she does not have to return to her home (108). Mr. Lies tells her that there are no Eskimo and no trees and that she is not pregnant. The scene ends as Harper walks off to meet up with an Eskimo. As she is walking away, she goes on about giving birth to a baby covered with white hair, her breast milk being hot cocoa, and the baby having a marsupial pouch, all to keep them warm in the snow.
