Frantz Fanon was born on July 20, 1925. He was most known for his books Black Skin, White Masks and The Wretched of the Earth. His family was from the French colony, Martinique. Fanon fought in World War II and stayed in France. That's where he began to write his stories. He was known as a post-colonial theorist because of the books that he wrote, which were about racism and his perspectives on things around him. Frantz Fanon died on December 6, 1961 in Maryland.
