Joseph Campbell was an American professor, writer, speaker, anthropologist, and mythologist. Campbell was born on March 26, 1904 and died on October 30, 1987. Campbell was most famous for his work in the fields of comparative mythology and comparative religion, and for his theory of “monomyth”.
