1. My favorite general site with many links is Labyrinth, out of Georgetown University. Its sites are listed by subject: http://labyrinth.georgetown.edu/
2. An often useful site to start with is the Catholic Encyclopedia because it has the inforation and a decent bibliography:
http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/index.html
3. This link is an overview of numerous sites:
http://www.lsu.edu/faculty/maribel/websites.htm
4. My favorite online journal for articles about Anglo-Saxon culture is Heroic Age. In addition to a well-run journal, they have a great site for links: http://www.heroicage.org/halinks.html
5. For Biblical Iconography and symbolism, there is a special link at this site: http://catholic-resources.org/Bible/
6. Another HUGE site is the ORB Medieval Sourcebook Site: http://www.the-orb.net/encyclo.html
Avoid Wikipedia, unless you can verify the facts in another credible source.
