   Egil was an Icelandic farmer, viking, and a poet. When Egil and his brother Thorolf heard that the king of England was in searched for man to fight King Olaf, they decided to be part of the troops. At a certain point in the battle, these brothers were separated and Thorolf was killed causing great grief to Egil. He was very determined to kill no matter what it would take.
   Egil was a viking and a poet. He enjoyed killing people. He fought with his brother as a companion in the Battle of Brunnanburh in which his brother got killed.
