  Egil was a viking and a poet. He enjoyed killing people. He fought with his brother as a companion in the Battle of Brunnanburh in which his brother got killed.

At a certain point in the battle, these brothers were separated and Thorolf was~~ killed ~~causing great grief to Egil. He was very determined to kill no matter what it would take~~.
