'''Claude Levi-Strauss''' was a French anthropologist and had influence on humanities. Born on November 28, 1908 in Brussels. He came from a Jewish family and later on he moved to Paris to continue his studies. He went to Law School there and studied philosophy. Strauss taught for a while and ended up getting his PhD. He became a professor at the College of France. He died whe.n he was 100 years old on October 1, 2009.
